IIL’s History

IIL was founded by Adv. (Capt.) V.J. Pushpakumar in 2007. With decades of experience in the shipping industry, Capt. Pushpakumar envisioned an institution that blends academic rigor with industry relevance.
His mission was to create specialized, industry-focused programs that offer students a clear advantage over traditional management degrees. Today, his vision has shaped IIL into a hub for future leaders in logistics and shipping.
